Batting Maestro Sachin Tendulkar made a quick-fire fifty to give his team a solid start up front, after winning the toss.

While opening the batting, Tendulkar smacked the bowlers all over the park to reach his half-century in mere 25 balls with the help of two fours and five massive sixes.

Though after completing his half-century the 'Master Blaster' couldn't manage to stay at the crease for long and gave his wicket to New Zealand Daniel Vettori after scoring 56 runs.

Sourav Ganguly and Carl Hooper too played crucial knocks in the end of 50 and 33 respectively to put up a challenging total of 219 runs.

In reply, Warne's team got off to a poor start as they lost opener Michael Vaughan in the first ball of the innings as Curtly Ambrose crashed into his stumps.

However, fine knocks by Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting and Jacques Kallis took their side close to the target.

In the end, Warne finished the match in style by hitting Virender Sehwag for a six off the 2nd last ball of the innings to win the match by four wickets.
