New Delhi: Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar started the new year, spending time with "young citizens of India".

The 42-year-old shared photos from his Twitter account, saying "Wonderful start to 2016 spending some time with young citizens of India!"



The former Indian skipper spent almost two hours with Mumbai's U-16 team at Mumbai Cricket Association’s (MCA’s) Bandra Kurla Complex Ground on Wednesday.


The training session was also attended by Arjun Tendulkar who is part of the Mumbai team.


During the session, Sachin asked the youngsters to avoid playing flashy T20 shots and concentrate on improving their basics.
