Kiev: Two terminals at the Boryspil international airport here in the Ukrainian capital were evacuated Tuesday after receiving a bomb threat, Xinhua reported. The bomb threat turned out to be false.

"All passengers from the terminals B and F were evacuated," said the airport spokesperson, Oksana Ozhigova. A phone call was received around 2.20 p.m., which triggered the alarm, she said.

But airport security personnel found no suspicious items in a 30-minute search, and determined that the threat was a hoax.

After the terminals were checked and proved to be safe, work resumed and passengers were not significantly delayed by the incident, she said. IANS
