18:40 PM IST: Start of play on day two of the 4th Test of has been delayed. Inspection at 8:00 PM.
New Delhi: On a rain-interrupted first day's play, India managed to get two wickets even as West Indies found solace in the fact that opener Kraigg Brathwaite was was in control.
West Indies, after choosing to the bat first, lost Leon Johnson and Darren Bravo in quick succession. The second day will resume with Brathwaite (32*) and Marlon Samuels (4*) at 62/2.
Skipper Virat Kohli utilised four bowlers in 22 overs play, with Ishant Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin returning with a wicket each.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami were wicketless.
