At stumps on Day 3, Kraig Brathwaite and Darren Bravo had put the hosts in a respectable position. Windies were 107/1 in reply to India's 353 in first innings.

Having lost the first wicket of Leon Johnson at the score of 59, Brathwaite and Bravo have so far added unbeaten 48-run stand for the second-wicket partnership.

Virat Kohli would want his bowlers to strike in the first session to make a comeback.

Earlier, after established batsmen failed to make an impact, Ravichandran Ashwin (118) and Wriddhiman Saha (104) staged a spectacular fightback with an incredible 213-run stand for the sixth wicket.

While it was Saha's maiden Test century, Ashwin, who has been in sublime form both with ball and bat in the series, smashed his second ton of the series.
