New Delhi: Big hitter of the cricket ball Yuvraj Singh played a blistering knock on Tuesday for Punjab to help his side beat Rajasthan.
The swashbuckling southpaw scored 78 runs off 59 balls to give his side thumping six wicket victory.
Yuvraj, smashed 10 fours and two sixes in his sparkling knock as Punjab put a foot in the quarterfinal of the tournament.
However, it was once again a poor outing for India's limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni, who managed to score just one run against defending champions Karnataka. However, Dhoni can take heart from the fact that his team Jharkhand comfortably won the match.
Dhoni is making a comeback in the domestic cricket after eight long-years.
