3rd T20I, India vs Zimbabwe: Big match for MS Dhoni as hosts eye rare series win against Men in Blue

Since Dhoni has not been in the best of form lately, it is crucial for him that India put a clinical show to clinch the T20 series as well.

New Delhi: MS Dhoni-led Indian cricket team take on Zimbabwe in the third and final T20I to be played at the Harare Sports Club today.

After losing the first match by two runs, Men in Blue bounced back in style as they crushed the hosts by 10 wickets in the second T20I.

Having sealed the ODI series 3-0, Dhoni would be keen to register another series win against Zimbabwe, who have struggled throughout the series.

Since he has not been in the best of form, it is crucial for him that India put a clinical show to clinch the T20 series as well.

The local fans jeered their players in the ODI series following several batting collapses. The players too, are aware of the fact that they need to put some fight against the visitors to regain the faith of their beloved fans.

The challenge for the hosts would be to dismiss the Indian openers early in the innings, something which they have failed to do in the previous matches.

Lokesh Rahul, in particular, has been in sensational form right throughout the series, barring the 1st T20I, where he was dismissed for a first-ball duck.

While the batsmen have saved some grace for the hosts, bowlers have been in terrible form and if they entertain any chances of pulling off a stunning win against India, bowlers will have to bowl their heart out against India in the final T20I.
