Still, the Karnataka batsman started his ODI career with a bang by scoring an unbeaten ton against Zimbabwe in the ongoing tour.


It also made him the first Indian cricketer and 11th overall to slam a century on ODI debut.


Rahul continued his good form in the next two ODIs as well, where he scored 33 and 63* to help India clinch the series 3-0.


After beating the hosts in the ODIs, in an interview with BCCI, Rahul spoke on various topics ranging from Indian skipper MS Dhoni, to Indian bowlers, to people behind his recent success.
