New Delhi: In an interesting part of the Indian Super League campaign, Atletico de Kolkata striker Iain Hume is delivering for the Eastern giants when it is mattering most.
Hume who has scored nine goals so far this season, was the master behind ATK's win against FC Pune City on Friday in Kolkata. Hume was also influential for the defending champions in their last game against FC Goa after scoring from the penalty spot.
Kolkata who top the table has rode on Hume as the Canadian scored another hattrick on Friday. He has successfully created pockets of spaces and delivered the goods for ATK by striking goals.
With Helder Postiga out of the ISL, Hume has shouldered the responsibility for the high flying giants.
Hume has an impressive shots on target tally this year with 20 to show how important he can be upfront.
Coach Antonio Habas made the perfect decision by getting Hume from Kerala Blasters this season and the move has done wonders. Hume scored a brilliant acrobatic goal in his hattrick against Pune after getting feeded from a rising through ball by skipper Borja Fernandez.
Hume stated on Friday that the job is far from being done after Kolkata's qualification for the semi-final.
Enjoy your weekend, but the job's far from done! Still got a big game vs Mumbai next Sat! #ATK #FataFatiFootball https://t.co/8BKTrjaiG3

Kolkata are the only team to have qualified for the semis so far and Habas's fine form gives fans and the management plenty of belief in the business end of the season.
