Tottenham (Kolarov (OG) 9'; Alli 38') 2 - 0 Manchester City: Penalty! Eric Lamela failed to score from the spot. Claudio Bravo picked the right side, jumping into his left and blocking the penalty. About that penalty, how it was earned? Alli, Rose and Walker toyed with City defence, and just in front of the goal, Fernandinho caught Alli with a tackle from behind.

SECOND-HALF

Manchester United (Martial 69') 1 - 1 (83' Allen) Stoke City: Full-time. Huge result for Stoke City to come to Old Trafford and share the spoils. First point in four games. For United, one point from this game means losing grounds to Chelsea, and out of top five.

For the record, Stoke return home undefeated for the first time in 36 years.

Manchester United (Martial 69') 1 - 1 (83' Allen) Stoke City: Paul Pogba denied by the frame of the goal. Good header from the Frenchman, on the move, from a cross from the left. It left the bar rattled but no change in the scorecard. That happened in the 88th minute. FOUR added minutes at Old Trafford. Moments ago, Phillip Bardsley came in for Xherdan Shaqiri.

Manchester United (Martial 69') 1 - 1 (83' Allen) Stoke City: Moment of chaos for United, and Joe Allen feasted on the chance. Scrambled, but nonetheless game changer. David de Gea could have done much better, but still that pressing from Stoke merited something.

And classic Jose Mourinho reaction. Substitution. Ander Herrera off, Memphis Depay in.

Manchester United (Martial 69') 1 - 0 Stoke City: Changes for Stoke. Peter Crouch on for Wilfried Bony; Marko Arnautovic making way for Jonathan Walters in 77th minute.

Team sheets for the next two matches

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City

Leicester City vs Southampton

Then, United grew stronger as the match progress but just at the stroke of 55th minute, Joe Allen and Xherdan Shaqiri played a good link-up creating a good chance. But Allen's final play was too feeble to trouble de Gea.

FIRST-HALF

Manchester United 0 - 0 Stoke City: Nothing much to write from first half, besides Lee Grant's three brilliant saves to deny Manchester United from scoring.
