New Delhi: Arsenal's title challenge was dealt a major blow on Wednesday after in-form goalkeeper Petr Cech was ruled out for three to four weeks with a calf injury.
The news of Cech's injury was revealed by manager Arsene Wenger during his pre-match press conference.
Along with Mesit Ozil, the 33-year-old has been the best player for the Gunners this season.
The Czech is likely to miss a minimum of four league games.
He will also play no part in the Champions League second leg against Barcelona and the FA Cup replay against Hull. Cech suffered the injury during his team's 2-1 mid-week defeat at home to Swansea.
Arsenal are currently 3rd on the league table and face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the north London derby. Spurs are three points ahead of Arsenal.
The derby is crucial for both teams, as they try to catch up with Leicester at the top of the table.
Here is what Wenger told the media about his team's duel with Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs.
