New Delhi: The AIFF has slapped a fine of Rs 50 lakh on FC Goa for boycotting the prize distribution ceremony following their 2-3 loss to Chennaiyin FC in the final of the second edition of Indian Super League football in December 2015.

Zico's FC Goa alleged that the game was fixed and therefore ran into trouble following the rant.

The AIFF had a meeting of its disciplinary committee and said in a statement that the fine amount should be paid within 10 days by FC Goa.

"FC Goa has been fined Rs 50 lakhs (which is to be paid within 10 days) for not attending the post match Presentation Ceremony of the Hero ISL Final 2015," the All India Football Federation said in a statement

The apex body charged FC Goa under article 53 of the AIFF disciplinary code (team misconduct), article 58 (offensive behaviour) and article 60 (threats) after the controversy-marred ISL final when FC Goa conceded two goals in the last three minutes at the Nehru Stadium at Margao.

According to reports, the AIFF in its meeting, also decided to ban and fine FC Goa's equipment manager Rajesh Malgi.

"Furthermore, Mr. Rajesh Malgi, Equipment Manager, FC Goa has been suspended for four matches of Hero ISL and also fined Rs 1 lakh for using offensive gestures and abusive language against the match officials after the final whistle of the Hero ISL 2015," the AIFF stated.

Earlier, the AIFF on Thursday suspended I-League's Mohun Bagan coach Sanjoy Sen for eight matches and slapped a fine of Rs 10 lakh for making derogatory statements against the federation.
