Parties being run by dynasties: Imran Khan
The passing on of the leadership of these parties from one family member to another was not democracy, Imran Khan said.
Islamabad: Cricketer-turned-politician Imran
Khan has said that Pakistan`s main political parties were
being run like dynasties, with their leadership being confined
to a handful of families.
"The political parties are being run like dynasties where the baton is handed over from father to son," Khan told a rally at Haripur yesterday in the Hazara belt of Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa province. "No matter how many capable leaders the PML-N has, its leadership will go to the offspring of the Sharif clan," said the chief of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf party.

(President Asif Ali Zardari`s son) Bilawal Bhutto will be made
the leader even though he cannot even speak Urdu."

"This is not democracy, it is an empire, it is a joke
