Latest figures from French officials confirmed that at least 128 people were killed — with 87 of those deaths occurring at the Bataclan theatre, where a concert was going on during the attacks.
In addition, more than 200 people were injured during the attacks, which appear to have been co-ordinated acts of terrorism across the French capital early Friday. Of those injured, 99 people were listed as being in serious condition.
The Stade de France, where France were playing Germany in an international friendly, was among the venues targeted, with a blast, from an apparent suicide bombing, heard during the game and three fatalities reported outside the arena.
The explosions were heard in the 20th minute but the game continued and with fans unable to leave the stadium at full-time, many came on to the pitch.
French President Francois Hollande was at the match.
