Sunny morning in Delhi, rain likely
Delhi witnessed thunderstorm and a drizzle of 1.4 mm Saturday evening, bringing down the temperature and providing respite from the scorching heat during the day.
New Delhi: It was a pleasant, sunny morning for the capital on Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below the average for the season. The met department has forecast light rains.
"Partly cloudy sky with thunder development is likely towards afternoon or evening. Maximum and minimum temperature will be around 37 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively," said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD). Humidity at 8.30 am stood at 49 percent.
