Within six minutes, the Poland striker scored the first goal, in the 51st minute. Then, the 27-year-old set the record for the fastest hat-trick, scoring another two in another three minutes. Three goals in three minutes, 19 seconds, for the record.
In five minutes, 42 seconds, he went onto score four goals, and nine minutes for his five goals. Some scoring records from the former Borussia Dortmund striker.
But, he fell just short of matching the record goal-haul in a single Bundesliga match. Cologne`s Dieter Mueller scored six in their 7-2 win over Werder Bremen in 1977.
