Ahmedabad: In an embarrassment to ruling BJP in poll-bound Gujarat, Saurabh Patel, son of party MLA Laxman Patel, along with his supporters on Monday joined opposition Congress.
Saurabh joined Congress at a function in Navsari town along with his 1500-2000 supporters, a Congress spokesperson said without elaborating further. Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Arjun Modhvadia has welcomed the new entrants to the party fold. PTI
