Lin Wen-tang of Chinese Taipei and countryman Hung Chun-kang are tied for the lead at the Yeangder TPC after firing matching five-under-par 67s in the opening round.

Khalin Joshi of India is tied third with 68, while Gaganjeet Bhullar is tied ninth after the first round.

Asian Tour Tournament Director Wanchai Meechai said: "We experienced heavy rain in the early morning on today and as the weather did not clear, the tournament committee decided to postpone the second round until Saturday."

Officials announced the decision at 11.30am as the adverse weather rendered certain areas on the course to be unplayable due to fog and flooding.

"The decision was made in the best interest of the tournament and our Asian Tour members to ensure that the course was in the best condition before we resume play," said Wanchai.
