Former world champion Michael Schumacher turns 47

Schumacher was back in news recently when a magazine claimed that the driver was walking again.

New Delhi: Arguably the greatest ever Formula One driver Michael Schumacher turned 47 on Sunday.

The German, a record seven-time F1 world champion, has been going through a painfully slow recovery at his Swiss lakeside home after serious skiing accident, which took place during a French Alps vacation in 2013.

Schumacher, who has a record 91 race wins under his belt, was back in news recently when a lifestyle magazine, Bunte, claimed that the driver was walking again.

Though, the report was denied by the long-time Schumacher manager, Sabine Kehm.

However, on his birthday, we wish Schumi a speedy recovery.
