AP Badminton association accepts secretary's resignation

Visakhaptnam: The Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association on Thursday decided to accept the resignation of Punnaiah Choudary K Ch as its secretary in view of his nomination by Badminton Association of India as Director (Technical to Indian Badminton League).

The decision was taken at the Annual General Council meeting held here.

Meanwhile, APBA Treasurer Cherukuri Raghu Kiran presently Treasurer has been elected as the new General Secretary, an official release said.

T Sampath Kumar has been elected as treasurer. It has been decided to request BAI for allotment of All India Sub Junior Ranking Badminton to Vijayawada and All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament at Kurnool in 2016.
