New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag on Monday took to Twitter to congratulate Deepa Malik's medal-winning performance at Rio Paralympics.
Deepa, on Monday bagged a Silver medal in shot put, which made her the first woman to win a medal at Paralympics.
The 45-year-old's throw of 4.61m won her a silver in the shot put F-53 event.
Sehwag, who is known to laud performances of Indian athletes, once again took to social micro-blogging site to tweet an inspirational message for Deepa.
