New Delhi: Japanese wrestling star Shinsuke Nakamura on Monday signed with WWE NXT.
This announcement was made during a press conference in the morning in Nakamura's home country.
“Talent is the lifeblood of our company, and the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura further demonstrates NXT’s commitment to bringing in the best talent from all over the world. His explosive style will make an immediate impact to an already dynamic NXT men’s division," Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative was quoted as saying by the WWE website.
Nakamura is among the top stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling. The veteran has earned the moniker The King of Strong Style.
During his 14-year career, Nakamura has battled against some of the biggest names in the wrestling world like Styles, NXT Champion Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens, Hideo Itami, WWE Performance Center Head Coach Matt Bloom and Brock Lesnar.
Nakamura will make his debut during WrestleMania 32 Week, at NXT TakeOver: Dallas on Friday, April 1.
