New Delhi: In a significant new development, the UFC on Wednesday announced that Brock Lesnar had tested positive in a second doping test
According to a report in the BBC, the WWE heavyweight tested positive for an unnamed substance.
The tests were conducted with an in-competition sample from the night of his UFC 200 win over Mark Hunt.
This was the very same substance that was present in his out-of-competition sample from 28 June.
United States Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) would "handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case", said a UFC statement.
According to the UFC anti-doping guidelines, a legal review process is granted to all athletes prior to sanctions being imposed.
Lesnar's win over Hunt fetched him a whopping $2.5m (£1.9m).
