New Delhi: Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton had a 'sporting' first day in India as they played football and cricket of their week-long visit.
The royal couple's football skills were on display as they played the sport with children from an NGO in Mumbai.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, also met, batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar during the day.
In fact after the meeting the couple, Tendulkar said that he was pleasantly surprised to know that Prince Williams follows cricket.
"It was nice to know that he (Prince William) follows cricket. We discussed T20 Finals and Tennis," Tendulkar was quoted as saying by ANI.
The royal couple will also visit India's neighbor Bhutan at the invitation of the Bhutanese king.
