As reported by africanfootball.com, coach Samson Siasia had fired a passionate plea for the authorities concerned to come to the rescue of the team financially, since the team was struggling to prepare for such a major event.

Nigeria will have a total of 85 representatives for the Rio Games, led by the Chelsea FC midfielder.
