New Delhi: Gold medal-winning swimmer Ryan Lochte has reportedly been 'held up at gun point' while attending a party in Rio.

As reported by Independent, Lochte has come out unharmed, and is now back to the team base. Soon after the party, the USA Olympic athlete is known to have phoned his mother Ileana after the incident, who is said to have described the incident as “terrifying”.


The 32-year-old Lochte won gold on Wednesday in the men’s 4x200 freestyle relay, making him the second most decorated male Olympic swimmer ever with 12 medals.
