New Delhi: Rio Olympics 2016 will always be remembered for the absence of top Russian competitors, mainly in track and field events, barred for state-sponsored doping.
But, it was revealed that at least 120 of the approximately 11,000 athletes competing in Rio have served suspensions or had to return medals for doping and were reinstated in time for this year’s Games.
That's about one out of every 100 competitors.
And of those, more that 25 have won medals at Rio.
