New Delhi: Usain Bolt walked away from Rio 2016 with the exact same result as his last two Olympics.
The Jamaican won gold in all the three events he participated in.
Having dominated his sport for over a decade now, Bolt perhaps felt the urge to try his hand at something new.
At 1:40 AM, a couple of days after winning his ninth gold, Bolt attempted a javelin throw at the Olympics Stadium.
Bolt registered a distance of 56 metres, which by any standards was a great effort for a beginner.
Thomas Rohler won the gold in Rio with an effort of 90.3m, while the smallest distance during the women's event was 57.7m.
