Bernard Tomic pulls Australia level in Davis Cup semi-final

Bernard Tomic pulled Australia level with Great Britain in their Davis Cup semi-final on Friday when he defeated late call-up Dan Evans 6-3, 7-6 (7/4), 6-7 (4/7) 6-4.

Andy Murray had earlier cruised past Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-3, 6-0, 6-3 as the home side enjoyed a flying start to their first semi-final in 34 years.

Murray may now team up with brother Jamie in Saturday`s doubles against Lleyton Hewitt and Sam Groth.
