No gift, donate to relief fund this Diwali: PM
Manmohan Singh asked them to make donations to Prime Minister`s national relief fund instead of sending him gifts.
New Delhi: Thanking all those who have been
sending him Diwali wishes, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday
asked them to make donations to Prime Minister`s national
relief fund instead of sending him gifts.
"He has appealed to his well wishers to make donations with PM`s national relief fund instead sending gifts him," a Prime Minister`s Office spokesperson said here. He said the Prime Minister wishes to thank to all those who have been sending him greetings and good wishes on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
Diwali will be celebrated across the nation on October 26.
