Taking out top seed and world No. 2 Simona Halep in quarterfinal and the third seed Sara Errani in the semifinal, Allertova managed to break first for a 2-1 lead. But Jankovic came back strong to the match, firing 10 aces, reeling off 11 games to win the final 6-2, 6-0, reported Xinhua.

"My opponent played very well before, she won Halep and Errani. But today I played agressively and served well," Jankovic said.

"It`s amazing to win a title in China for the second time this year, obviously China is very special to me," said Jankovic, who had won a WTA 125K Series title in Nanchang, China earlier this summer.

"I really want to thank the fans for supporting me for such a long time whenever I come to China," she added.

Allertova, who had only experienced her first WTA tournament final, was actually enjoying the best week so far in her career.

"I`m so happy I could beat so many good players and play my first final. Jelena was too good, but I`m happy with my week," the 22-year-old said.
