New Delhi: After his second outing in the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), Nick Kyrgios has said that he is looking forward to a better show next year after playing with some of the legends of the game in the tournament.

Kyrgios, along with Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka played together for Singapore Slammers in the 2015 edition of the IPTL. The trio not only shared a good rapport, but also claimed the title by beating table-toppers Indian Aces 26-21 in the summit clash of the tournament.

Kyrgios admitted that the upcoming season would be a `big` year for him, and that he was looking forward to playing in the Hopman Cup, Fast4 in Sydney and Kooyong ahead of the Australian Open.

The 20-year-old said that he was pleased that he and Wawrinka were able to put aside their strained relations for the sake of their team.

Kyrgios had sparked controversy in August when he made lewd remarks to Wawrinka during their Montreal Masters match.

He was not only handed a ban and a fine by the ATP tour for his remark, but also faced severe criticism from the legends of the game.
