New Delhi: Soon after he won his sixth Australian Open title, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic had to leave for home barefoot.
Djoker, befor a post-match interview, was seen throwing his shoes towards his fans who were cheering for him after he equaled Roy Emerson's record of six Australian Open titles by defeating Andy Murray in straight sets at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday.
Nole later shared the video of the incident on Twitter and jokingly said he was leaving for home barefoot after obliging the fans by giving his shoes.
