New Delhi: After an incredible 2015, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic started the new season on yet another high note by winning the Australian Open defeating Andy Murray in straight sets.
The World No. 1, who is the most dominant force in world tennis at the moment, has been in sublime form and with his sixth title at the Rod Laver Arena, Nole has now won 21 Grand Slam matches in a row starting from Wimbledon 2015.
The winning streak could have been huge had he not suffered defeat in the French Open final at the hands of Stanislas Wawrinka. The Swiss deprived Djoker of a career slam as the latter had done all the hard work to defeat nine-time champion and King of Clay Rafael Nadal in the semis last year.
After winning the Australian Open, the 28-year-old said he was now aiming to win the title at the Roland Garros, which is the only major trophy missing from his cabinet.
The way he is going, Nole contemporaries would have to play out of their skins to deprive him of a career slam in 2016.
