New Delhi: HP Inc on Thursday announced the latest addition to its portable photo printer portfolio in India –the new HP Sprocket Plus.
The slim and sleek device produces 30 percent larger photos (2.3 inch x 3.4 inch), compared to the first HP Sprocket. HP Sprocket Plus will be available in India, in two stylish colors – black and red.
The HP Sprocket Plus along with pack of 10 papers is exclusively available on Amazon now at Rs 8,999. Additionally HP ZINK paper will be available for at Rs 799 for a pack of 20.
The companion Sprocket App, available on iOS and Android, has also been upgraded with a host of new capabilities and users can now print photos from Social Media apps directly. It has a new feature, called Embedded Experience powered by Augmented Reality that prints photos with a concealed watermark that reveal additional content when viewing the photos through the App. Further, it comes equipped with numerous filters, text borders, stickers and emojis that let users customise their photos, making each Sprocket photo come to life.
HP Sprocket plus photo printer connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth and prints photographs sized 2.3 x 3.4 inches using ZINK technology, to deliver colorful, smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear-resistant photos without ink or toner cartridges.
