Telangana: Adilabad hottest at 43 °C

Hyderabad: Adilabad in Telangana on Friday recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius in the state.

Apart from Adilabad, maximum temperature was above normal at many other places in the state, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said here.

The lowest minimum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius was recorded at Medak,

The mercury touched or crossed the 40-degree mark in Nizamabad (42), Medak (41), Bhadrachalam, Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar and Ramagundam (all 40 degrees Celsius).

The maximum temperature would continue to be above normal by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, and could be above 40 degrees at isolated places across the state, IMD said.
