Bigg Boss 11, Day 17 written updates: Diwali celebrations inside the house, Vikas, Arshi and Jyoti get in trouble

New Delhi: In the previous episode of Bigg Boss season 11, we saw how Vikas Gupta's team became the target of Puneesh's team in the 'Jo Mud Gaya vo Ud Gaya' task. On day 17, it was time for revenge!

The episode aired on October 18th was rather peculiar. It showed Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta apologising to each other. Yes, you read that right. Not only have Shilpa and Vikas resolved their differences like adults, they duo has also apologised to each other and we couldn't be happier!

Day 17 began with the housemates dancing cheerfully but the positive atmosphere didn't last for long as Luv and Puneesh soon engaged in a war or words. Puneesh was later consoled by Bandgi which makes us wonder if his anger was justified or not.

The task 'Jo Mud Gaya vo Ud Gaya' began and all our hearts started pounding. After all, the task resulted in a lot of violence the day before. Team Vikas was much excited when the task began as it was finally time for a revenge!

We saw how Hina had been laying out a careful strategy the day before and today too, it was her who took charge of the entire team. Water, cowdung and paint was thrown on team Puneesh but the contestants simply refused to give up.

When Puneesh finally gave up, the entire team applauded for him as he performed to the best of his ability. However, Puneesh's team could last for only 28 minutes and lost the task. Thus, the winner of the luxury budget task for this week was Vikas and his team. 

After the task, the housemates had to select two members from the losing team who would join Vikas in the Kal Kothri. Jyoti Kumari and Arshi Khan were chosen and they both entered the Kal Kothri.

Since Diwali is round the corner, the housemates celebrated the festival of lights inside the Bigg Boss house, cheerfully! Sweets were distributed and the entire atmosphere of the house was extremely positive.

However, in a rather unexpected turn of events, Arshi, Vikas and Jyoti sneaked out of the Kal Kothri in order to get some sweets. Bigg Boss reprimanded the trio and it spoiled the entire cheerful atmosphere of Diwali.

Vikas, later on regretted the prank as it eventually spoiled everyone's Diwali. He took all the blame on himself and the episode ended on an ambiguous note.
