Mumbai: Speculations are rife that popular yet controversial TV show 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka' featuring Shakti Arora, Aditi Dev Sharma and Drashti Dhami may go off the air in November. And this news may have disappointed fans of the show but before you think the rumours are true, check out Shakti's reaction.

Shakti, who plays Kunal in the show, has refuted rumours about the show being pulled off the air.

While talking to the Times of India, Shakti put all speculations to rest and said, "Not at all. Our show is doing very well and in fact, one of the episodes that aired last week registered the highest ratings. So, it’s not true and I haven’t heard anything about it. "

Fans have appreciated the actors for their performances while haters have trolled them for being a part of the show that glorifies adultery.

Drashti Dhami and Shakti Arora have been recipients of hate messages online. The pretty actress is slammed for playing Nandini, 'the other woman' in Kunal (Shakti) and Mauli's (Aditi) married life.

For the unversed, here's the summary of the story so far:

Kunal who is married to Mauli loses his heart to Nandini (Mauli's best friend). Nandini, who has had a terrible marriage with Rajdeep (played by Abhinav Shukla), falls in love with Kunal. Their love for each other overpowers their sense of morality. Nandini betrays her best friend who has stood by her through thick and thin while Kunal cheats on his wife who has always gone out of her way to make him happy.
