Mumbai: Season 6 of Karan Johar's signature show Koffee with Karan has seen some of the most unusual jodis sharing the couch. The season opened with an episode featuring Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone  - two of Bollywood's leading actresses.

Karan also brought together two of the most flamboyant men on the couch - Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. So the actor/filmmaker/producer has managed to get some of the unconventional pairs on his show. Among the many unusual jodis, the viewers will get to see Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapoor in an episode.


According to a report in After Hrs, a source said, "All of Karan’s protégés have already shot their episodes, except Sidharth Malhotra. He was always supposed to make an appearance, but the makers didn’t know who to team him up with. Now, he will be seen on the show with Aditya Roy Kapur. (sic)."


Sidharth has a biopic on Kargil martyr Vikram Batra and Jabariya Jodi while Aditya will be seen in Johar's Kalank co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha.


Sidharth was launched by Karan in Student of The Year in 2012. The film also marked the acting debut of Varan Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Varun will be making an appearance on the couch along with his soon-to-be co-star Katrina Kaif. 


Apart from this, fans of Koffee With Karan will be thrilled to know that Arjun Kapoor will team up with his half-sister Janhvi Kapoor, rapper Badshah will share the couch with Diljit Dosanjh, Ayushmann Khurrana will join forces with Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao with Bhumi Pednekar.


Apart from Koffee With Karan, the celebrity chat show, Karan will also be seen judging talent hunt show - India's Got Talent along with Malaika Arora and Kirron Kher.
