Kundali Bhagya 9th January 2018 Written Episode Update: Rishabh threatens to call off his engagement with Sherlyn

Rakhi politely asks Sherlyn if she is in love with someone else so that she can get her married to the person of her choice instead of Rishabh. But Sherlyn denies having feelings for anyone and accuses Preeta of nursing negative feelings for her. Rakhi defends Preeta and tells Sherlyn that it could just be a misunderstanding and hence it would be better to get in sorted.

Everyone waits downstairs for Sherlyn to return. But she knows she can’t let them leave for the club to watch the CCTV footage that will prove that Karan in innocent.

Sherlyn pretends to fall unconscious so that she can delay their plans to visit the club and give ample time to Prithvi to destroy the evidence. A while later, she pretends to regaining consciousness and apologises to Rishabh and his family for causing stress. Rishabh tells her that he only wants to know the truth. Kareena accuses Preeta of trying to create a rift between Rishabh and Sherlyn by falsely implicating her of cheating.

Rishabh tells Sherlyn that if she has a problem going to the club along with them to uncover the truth, then he wouldn’t mind calling off his engagement. Mahesh asks Rishabh what made his say such things – does he really trust Preeta so much or is there something else that’s bothering him. Rishabh expresses his respect for Preeta and tells everyone that he has tremendous faith in her. And that he wouldn’t tolerate if ever she is humiliated.

Prithivi reaches the club and poses as an officer from the police department working on Karan Luthra’s drug case. The security staff asks him to show his ID and on failing to prove his identity, he is denied access to the CCTV monitor room.  He tries to overpower the security staff by pushing him out of the room but Prithvi is eventually thrown out of the club by bouncers.

The Luthras reach the club to check the CCTV footage. Sherlyn acts coy in front of Preeta and tells her that she is innocent. But Preeta tells her not to act and that she knows how notorious she is. Preeta tells her that she saw her hugging her boyfriend and she even knows that Sherlyn had kept a fast on Karva Chauth for Prithvi.

Rishabh tells Preeta that the manager doesn’t have the permission to show the CCTV footage. This makers Sherlyn happy but the Luthras try to convince the manager to let them have a look at the footage. The manger refuses to show but Mahesh enters the room and says that they will certainly get to see the entire footage.
