New Delhi: Remember the 1990s star Mohnish Bahl? Well, he became the ideal child for every parent after his mesmerising performances in 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' and 'Hum Saath - Saath Hain'. The 55-year-old star is now all set to make a comeback.
No, we aren’t talking about a film this time. Interestingly, Monish will be seen hosting crime series 'Hoshiyaar... Sahi waqt, sahi kadam'. He is essaying the character of a narrator in this television show.
He told PTI, "It's not easy as whole day you are subjected to negative emotions and crime. It's difficult to do a show like this. When we talk about negativity through crime it has an effect on me. It's not a comedy show that I am enjoying myself."
"But the purpose of the show is to avert the crime and change things in a better way. I think if you don't feel empathy for what happens your performance won't come true as a host. The audience should believe what you are saying," Monish added.
Oh boy, it wouldn’t we wrong to say that the TV program sounds exciting enough!
On the cinema front, his last notable presence was observed in Salman Khan starrer 'Jai Ho'. In the 2014 release, he portrayed the role of a Chief Minister.
