Shilpa Shinde wins Bigg Boss 11; former fiancé Romit Raj elated

The former Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress’ former beau Romit Raj took to Twitter Sunday to congratulate her.

Mumbai: Not just fans, Romit Raj - Shilpa Shinde’s ex fiancé - too is thrilled to see her emerge victorious. The TV actress was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 11 last night by superstar host Salman Khan.

Her journey as a Bigg Boss contestant has been an enriching one and she has impressed the audience by her consistency.

The former Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress’ ex beau Romit Raj took to Twitter Sunday to congratulate her.

Romit had extended support to her ever since she joined the show as a contestant.

A few days back, fans of the actress had trolled Romit. He politely responded to them my posting:  “Instead of writing negative remarks about me, that too without knowing what’s going on in my personal life or how I am personally. You should rather vote for your favourite contestant and concentrate there instead of trolling me. Shilpa has always been dear to me and is in my prayers every day. My silence on Shilpa for 8 years clearly states how much I respect and care for her. May the best and the most deserving one win (sic).”

Shilpa and Romit started dating when they did popular TV show Maayka together.

The actor had even expressed his desire to be a part of Bigg Boss 11 but he was never approached for the show.
