Ayodhya issue must be solved soon keeping in mind country's peace: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday raked the Ram Temple issue, saying that the Ayodhya matter must be solved keeping in mind the harmony and peace of the country. He added that the matter must be solved as soon as possible, within the constitutional framework.

"We believe that the #Ayodhya matter must be solved keeping in mind the harmony and peace of the country. It must be solved as soon as possible, within the constitutional framework," Yogi Adityanath said.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister attacked the Congress accusing the party of being the main obstacle in building the Ram Temple. "Congress does not want the Ram Mandir to be built in Ayodhya. The party which does not belong to Lord Ram is of no use to us too," he added.

Adityanath was addressing a public rally at Kawardha in Chhattisgarh which is going to polls in two phases - on November 12 and November 20 while the counting of votes will be held on December 11.

On October 29, the Supreme Court adjourned the Ayodhya title suit until next year to fix a date for the hearing. The court was hearing the matter which challenged the 2010 ruling of the Allahabad High Court which divided the disputed land into three parts.
