MATHURA: A gas tanker exploded on the Yamuna expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday after it rammed into another gas tanker in Surir near Milestone 85. Five other vehicles which were nearby were also caught in the fire ensuing from the tanker.

Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was later brought under control. Three people have been critically injured in the accident.
Police and rescue teams are present at the spot.
In another unrelated incident, four people were killed and 11 injured when a tourist bus was hit by a speeding truck on the Yamuna Expressway on Saturday. The accident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh district at Tappal.
The bus was headed to Agra from New Delhi.
The victims were declared dead at a hospital.
