National-level player gets triple talaq for giving birth to baby girl, writes to PM Modi, CM yogi for help

Shumaila has now decided to write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the hope of getting some help.

Lucknow: A national-level Netball player received the triple talaq from her husband after she gave birth to a baby girl much to his dislike.

Shumaila, who hails from Amroha village in Uttar Pradesh, has been running from pillar to post for the past two years to get justice. She has now decided to write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the hope of getting some help.

She said that her husband threw her out of their house after issuing triple talaq when they were blessed with a baby girl.
