Uttar Pradesh: Trains delayed due to fog, passengers stranded

GORAKHPUR: Several passengers were stranded on Sunday morning after trains were delayed due to fog. Trains such as Gorakhdam Express and Vaishali Superfast are running eight to 12 hours late. 

On Saturday, a total of 49 trains scheduled for New Delhi Railway were running late. Fourteen were rescheduled due to fog in northern India while only one train Alipurduar Mahananda Express was cancelled, according to railway spokesperson. 

Meanwhile, in Kashmir Valley, train services remained suspended in due to security reasons, said the Railway PRO.
