Raebareli: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday drew laughter when he enacted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's response to his request to waive off the loan of farmers.
Addressing a rally in Raebareli, which was attended by his sister and Congress' star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul said it would take PM Modi just 15 minutes if he wants to forgive farmers' debt. “Why is he not doing it,” asked Gandhi.
The Congress leader added that Modi makes hollow promises and accused the PM of snatching food park project from Raebareli, a parliamentary seat held by his mother Sonia Gandhi, "to take revenge".

After weeks of dilly-dallying, postponements and cancellations, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today attended the rally addressed by her brother and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
The absence of Priyanka had reportedly upset the cadres, especially in the family bastion of Amethi-Raebareli, where she had been campaigning in previous elections.
