When Speaker told UP CM Yogi Adityanath — "Not that you are fat now, there may be some weight"

New Delhi: An interesting situation arose during the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday when the name of newly-elected Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came up in the first question. 

CM Yogi Adityanath was speaking at his farewell speech in the House today when he said, "When I first came to Parliament after being elected from Gorakhpur, I was very thin."

On this, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said, "There is still no fat on you. It's just the weight has increased."

Unlike the popular perception about him for being the firebrand leader of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) leader, Yogi Adityanath definitely managed to win some hearts and also succeeded in making Opposition leaders laugh to his wit.
