"In the first phase, Chief Minister Adityanath will visit five districts. He will begin his tour from Gorakhpur, on August 9, followed by Maharajganj and Siddharthanagar on August 10, Ballia on August 11 and Allahabad on August 12," UP BJP spokesperson Shalabh Mani Tripathi said on Tuesday.

The area of review will be law and order, health, cleanliness and electricity, he added.

During his stay in these districts, the chief minister is also likely to meet party workers, Tripathi said.

"The tour will provide an opportunity to review the various developmental and welfare schemes at the grassroots level. This will also help in knowing the attitude of the officials towards the people," the UP BJP spokesperson said.

Tripathi said that Adityanath in the past four months had heard the grievances of the people by holding 'Janata Darbars' and had also made a conscious effort to make officials sensitive and accountable.
