MeT department issues heavy rainfall alert in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: The MeT department has predicted heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand for next 48 hours.

The MeT Department has issued heavy rain alert for next 48 hours in Haridwar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh.

For he last few days rains hae been occurring in the Char Dhaam region where thousands of people have arrived for the annual pilgrimage.

There were also reports of landslides which have blocked some roads along the Char Dham route.
